Sometimes my schedule is pretty full and the next extensive mountain tour is still a while away. But the BÜRGKOGEL always fits into my schedule, because if it has to go quickly, then I hike through the Sigmund Thun Klamm up to the Klammsee. Already the view of the reflecting surface of the lake has a calming effect on me. My path continues around the Klammsee to the east side. There, at the signposting, it goes up to the Bürgkogel. At the top I enjoy the peace and the beautiful view of the Kitzsteinhorn and the valley head. At any time of day, this place is my power spot in Kaprun.
